I was honoured to receive the Deming Distinguished Practice Award 2025 in Tokyo – the first European to receive this award.

This recognition reflects a lifetime of work to promote the ideas of W. Edwards Deming and to help organisations around the world achieve higher performance through people, learning and continuous improvement.

IAQ Walter E. Masing Book Prize for Literature

For Quality Beyond Borders (2020)

I was delighted to receive the Walter E. Masing Book Prize from the International Academy for Quality (IAQ) for my book Quality Beyond Borders.

This award is in recognition of the contribution the book has made to a better understanding of the human and organisational aspects of improvement, and to the practical application of these ideas around the world.
